I am not a cool and collected customer and I let Slattery know right off the bat that I would be high maintenance. Okay, I'm not that extreme but I was making a big move and Slattery came highly recommended by someone I trust so I felt confident but with all the horror stories you read online about unscrupulous movers, I was already terrified that I would be taken advantage of and lose my belongings. All nightmare scenarios aside, Slattery was super professional from start to finish. Lauren and Jeanine were especially helpful in the lead-up to moving day but then came a large group of men to my home on the day and time appointed. I could not believe what a well greased machine the crew was. I slept soundly for two days before delivery to my new house and they showed up again at the time and on the day. The unpacking of the truck was where I could see the method to their madness as my belongings unfolded and revealed themselves through layers of unpacking of the truck. From start to finish, the guys were great and all my stuff that went on the truck came off the truck, none too worse for the journey. They take pride in their work, at the office and at my house so yeah, I give them five stars.

We recently moved from NJ to Florida and hired Slattery. On the day of the move, they arrived exactly on time and within 2 hours had the truck loaded. We requested a delivery date that would coincide with many other factors and they indicated they would do their best but with no promises. Moving is one of the major stressors out there but using Slattery made it less so. Juan, Javier, Bobby, Jhony, Xavier and Luka were all great. They came on time, worked straight through with a couple of quick refueling breaks and used the right amount of levity to make the move so easy. They were extremely careful and respectful of my items and I felt like I was in great hands. I researched at least 5 other companies and found Slattery to be the best fit for what we needed. We had to move half our house into storage and the other half into our temporary home. They made sure everything got to the correct destination!The initial virtual walk through with Lauren was seamless and she was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. Rob, the team leader and truck driver, was great throughout the whole process!! The team worked quickly and carefully!! Before I knew it, they were done and it was time to leave my home of 40 years. It was bittersweet. Two days later, true to his word, Rob was at my new home with a new crew to unload the truck. Everything was carefully unloaded, re-assembled and placed in the correct location!! The team was wonderful!. Not one thing was broken!! They were extremely careful with my antique piano, my husband's drum set, as well as many glass pieces that were moved. Everything that the Slattery Team did was perfect!! I commend them!! I would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone moving, whether it is a local move or a long-distance one!!

I used Slattery recently for junk removal of several pieces of furniture. They were easy to schedule, gave a detailed estimate and showed up on the scheduled day. The movers were professional and efficient at moving very heavy pieces down a flight of stairs with no issues or damage. Would use again!

We are moving out of Rockland County and into Westchester County after 27 years and decided to hire Slattery Moving and Storage to transport our furniture and 27 years of stuff to our new home. Phase one (move out) was completed today! The crew of 5 arrived at 7:30 (scheduled between 7-8) right on time. Besides one 10/15 minute break to recharge their batteries, the crew worked non-stop were extremely professional, courteous, respectful, and helpful.
