I highly recommend Slattery’s Moving company! From the very first inquiry until the follow up after my move, everyone has been so professional and nice. Their prices are very reasonable and the movers are efficient and polite. I had a long distance move and the delivered exactly in time and kept me updated on the progress of my delivery. I recently relocated across state lines, and I can confidently say that the entire experience was better than I anticipated, thanks to Slattery Moving and Storage. It’s stressful seeing your worldly possessions packed on a truck but the move couldn’t have gone smoother.Their customer service team (Lauren, Jeanine, and Chris) were incredibly responsive, answering all my questions. I was able to complete a virtual walkthrough with Lauren and get an estimate online. They provided a clear breakdown of the pricing structure and I secured a move date that would work with my schedule. Communication with the office team was transparent and consistent during each step in the process.On the day of the move, the crew, headed by Juan, arrived on time and ready to work. They were courteous and took great care with my belongings. What stood out to me was how they handled my furniture—everything was carefully wrapped in protective padding, and they disassembled larger pieces when necessary to ensure they wouldn’t get damaged during transit. They asked questions to clarify what was moving vs. being hauled away as I also had them remove some items I couldn’t donate. They worked non-stop till the task was done.When my belongings arrived at my new home, I was pleased to see that everything was in the same condition as when it left. There were no surprises, and I was impressed by the speed with which the unloading process took place. The movers took the time to place items exactly where I wanted them and helped reassemble furniture.Moving interstate can feel like a huge undertaking, but this experience was made so much easier thanks to the professionalism and efficiency of everyone at Slattery Moving & Storage. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who’s planning an interstate move. Their attention to detail, customer service, and punctuality made the entire process as stress-free as possible. If I ever need to make another move, they’ll be my first call.

We used Slattery Moving for a move between NY and Hilton Head. We did not move any furniture but had a number of boxes, large odds and end stuff ladder,bike, large baskets etc.). We packed the boxes and their team put all on semi truck which we shared with other clients. This business model kept the cost WAY down. The delivery here was seamless. The driver navigated narrow roads and hauled the boxes into the house without issue. We considered using a “Pod” but encountered bait and switch quotes & we could never get the same person on the phone.Slatterys is a local company with a stellar reputation for a reason. We strongly recommend them for their professionalism, cost and reliability.

I am not a cool and collected customer and I let Slattery know right off the bat that I would be high maintenance. Okay, I'm not that extreme but I was making a big move and Slattery came highly recommended by someone I trust so I felt confident but with all the horror stories you read online about unscrupulous movers, I was already terrified that I would be taken advantage of and lose my belongings. All nightmare scenarios aside, Slattery was super professional from start to finish. Lauren and Jeanine were especially helpful in the lead-up to moving day but then came a large group of men to my home on the day and time appointed. I could not believe what a well greased machine the crew was. I slept soundly for two days before delivery to my new house and they showed up again at the time and on the day. The unpacking of the truck was where I could see the method to their madness as my belongings unfolded and revealed themselves through layers of unpacking of the truck. From start to finish, the guys were great and all my stuff that went on the truck came off the truck, none too worse for the journey. They take pride in their work, at the office and at my house so yeah, I give them five stars.

I really appreciated how this was handled.***The company sounds like it’s great but unfortunately whoever was driving from Georgia to Florida on April 4 around 10 AM was an idiot .They were trying to use their size to push other cars out of their way— Popping in and out of the slow and middle lane like they were an oversized rabbit.This was incredibly dangerous and incredibly stupid.

Juan and his team were unbelievable!! They were efficient, caring to our personal items, wrapped everything well after taking items apart- a true pleasure to work with!! We had a 2 part move- apartment temporary and storage. They were so attentive to the time (had to get my kids from school) but they were so amazing they helped to set up and plan out where my kids beds and dressers would go!The small details really stood out as any move prior we were not this well taken care of!!! We cant wait to use Juan and his crew for our final move to a new house

We recently moved from NJ to Florida and hired Slattery. On the day of the move, they arrived exactly on time and within 2 hours had the truck loaded. We requested a delivery date that would coincide with many other factors and they indicated they would do their best but with no promises. They ended up arriving at the exact day and time requested and unloaded quickly and efficiently. The workers on both ends were friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend Slattery.

Moving is one of the major stressors out there but using Slattery made it less so. Juan, Javier, Bobby, Jhony, Xavier and Luka were all great. They came on time, worked straight through with a couple of quick refueling breaks and used the right amount of levity to make the move so easy. They were extremely careful and respectful of my items and I felt like I was in great hands. I researched at least 5 other companies and found Slattery to be the best fit for what we needed. We had to move half our house into storage and the other half into our temporary home. They made sure everything got to the correct destination!The initial virtual walk through with Lauren was seamless and she was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. We are looking forward to using them again when we officially move into our forever home this summer!
